Seduction by words

In relation to Missy Sun's earlier post, this is my 2 cents on this blog infatuation thingy. To me, a blog infatuation or crush as you may like to call it conjures up images of a secret love behaviour that often includes a lot of giggling and writing of little love notes. The excitement, secrecy and notes often starts with a slow seduction and in this case, through the power of words.

A girl can easily be swept off by words that can stir a range of emotions when she reads the blog. The powerful surge of words coupled perhaps with the blog persona, mystique or a certain photograph or comment can cause the heart to flutter. This fierce attraction, I mean the expert use of words, can give rise to a smile on her face or make her laugh and cry. It is not hard to be attracted to a person by the way he/she writes. It is a delicious yet sometimes a painful addiction.

The blogsphere is really a strange world, but what harm can it do if we indulge in a little blog crush for a little sensual pleasure of the mind? Afterall, how could anyone feel any attraction for a silhouette in the sand in the absence of any physical or visual effect?

BLOG INFATUATION

Is it possible for blog readers to have crushes on bloggers
or vice versa?

I am posing this question becoz I have a girlfriend who is in
this peculiar situation. She has been reading a particular
blog and is a very great fan of a certain blogger. She says
his posts stimulate her senses and affects her in a way she
can't explain.

Practically in every post he writes, she will leave a comment.
After his reply, she will just stare and stare at the monitor
and just go to "7th Heaven" smiling and grinning away. But
when he doesn't respond to her comment, she will "kau beh
kau bu" and sulk. Sometimes she will complain and tell me
that her idol is not 'writing right'. God knows what she means
by that, coz I really dun understand her obsession.

You say the blogosphere is strange or not? Is there such a
thing as Blog Infatuation?? ..... ...I wonder!!

Sexy Lingerie

Shopping malls are having another round of sales again ..... this time the pre-chinese new year sales, hence my mood for shopping ......

I am in the mood for lingerie shopping.
I do not want a style that is sporty, sweet, cute, practical or trashy.
I would like a style that exudes the feminine, elegant and sexy look.

I do not particularly need new lingerie.
I simply want it.
I will wear it to work.
For me.
I will be the only person to know that beneath my attire, I am indulging in a secret pleasure.
Just for me.
I will go about by normal day feeling wonderful about my body.
It will be a little sensual and secretive.
No one will ever know.
I will revel in my feminity.
I will do it, just for me.

When was the last time you treated yourself to a little wicked indulgence? Heheheeeeee

INTERESTING CONVERSATION

In any friendship, there will be differences of opinion;
but as a trio, our conversation varies like this.....

When it comes to FOOD...

Never heard of that before
Heard of that but havent tasted it yet
Heard it, seen it and eaten it already

Korean Dramas

Dunno what you are talking about.
Heard of it, but never watched it.
Bought the discs and watched it so many times.

Mandarin Language

Cannot read and cannot write.
Can read but cannot write.
Can read and can write.

Internet

During the last two weeks, there was this very frequent
question :

"Hey, your streamyx ok?

No problem la, I am on the net now. Everything ok.
Aiyo, my line is bad. Every time get disconnected.
I am the most unlucky. Can't get in at all.

Whenever this kinda talk starts (and there are many
more in the same vein) we just look at one another
and then laugh until tears come to our eyes.

To some people, two's company, three's a crowd;
but in a friendship like ours, three's definitely NOT a crowd!!

A QUESTION OF GENDER

Yooooohooooooo everyone! It's a brand New Year !!

And to start off, let's have some fun and laughter....

hehee...... funnybone time.....

A Spanish teacher was explaining to her class that in Spanish,
unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or
feminine.

"House" for example, is feminine : "la casa"

"Pencil" however, is masculine : "el lapiz"

A student asked, "What gender is 'computer'?" Instead of giving
the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and
female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether
'computer' should be a masculine or a feminine noun. Each group
was asked to give four reasons for its recommendation.

The male group decided that 'computer' should definitely be of the
Feminine gender ('la computadora') because...

1) No one but their creator understands their internal logic;
2) The native language they use to communicate with other
computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;
3) Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long term memory for
possible retrieval later;
4) As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself
spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

(The reasons get more interesting....)

The women's group however, concluded that 'computers' should
be of the Masculine gender ('el computador') because...

1) In order to do anything with them, you have to turn them on;
2) They have a lot of data, but still can't think for themselves;
3) They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time
they ARE the problem;
4) As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you had waited
a little while longer, you could have gotten a better model.

Needless to say, the women won..... kakakaka

Have a nice week ahead, everyone!
