Beauty?

This morning, a friend told me she is thinking of having liposuction done. It was hard for me to keep my surprise to myself since I never really imagined anybody I know wanting to undergo that kind of procedure. I have seen it done in extreme makeover in magazines and it wasn't really a very pretty sight. I don't even understand how anybody could consider giving that kind of torture to their bodies. Yes, that is what I think it is. Your body goes through so much battery and pain just to make it look better.

I believe I won't be undergoing such a procedure in my lifetime unless it is for extreme health reasons. I am not saying that I like my body the way it is. In fact it really needs alot of work. But then again, at the same time I don't believe it is a hideous sight for me to consider cosmetic surgery.

TAKE YOUR PICK

Came across this interesting read, see if you can
figure it out :-

You are driving along your car on a wild , stormy night.
You pass by a bus stop, and you see 3 people waiting for
the bus.

1. An old lady, who looks as if she is about to die ,
2. An old friend who once saved your life ,
3. The prefect man you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing
that three could only be one passenger in your car ?

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die
and thus you should save her first ; Or
You could take the old friend because he once saved your life
and this would be the prefect chance to pay him back ; However,
You may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

WHICH ONE OF THE ABOVE WOULD YOU HELP ?

The best solution would be to give the car keys to your old friend
and let him take the lady to the hospital. Stay behind and wait for
the bus with the man of your dreams.

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn
thought limitations. The art of being wise is the art of knowing
what to overlook.

Is my reality true?

What is reality? Isn't it that a story may have different versions depending on who is telling it? And isn't it that each side of a story is a reality on its own? Wouldn't that mean then that what I perceive to be real may not be a reality to someone else? I am wondering if our minds are conjuring up our realities not based on what is true but what we want the truth to be.

I have asked this once to a friend and he just gave me a confused look and told me that I am thinking way too much.

Maybe I am ....
