WISHFUL THINKING!

Lately, our bonding sessions have been few
and far between due to our grinding work
schedules and irregular dating patterns.
Despite the fact that we phone each other
quite often (I think our phone calls are
more regular than our bfs!) I still miss the
company of my two good friends. So, when
Moon called on Monday inviting me (and Star too)
for a sleepover at her place, I jumped at the
opportunity for a cosy get-together.

Usually our meet-ups are very gossipy; catching up on things
happening around our circle of friends, our work and what-is
and what-nots. But this time, the main topic of conversation
veered towards Christine's upcoming wedding in October.
And of course, this started us on a suggestion which sounded
quite all right when we were sipping our red wine that night but
now seems more like wishful thinking.

Just imagine...the three of us... synchronizing the following events:
-Getting married
-Honeymooning
-Even experiencing Motherhood

Wouldn't it be a scream if this togetherness thing were to happen?
If it happens, most probably it will take a year or two or maybe
longer because I think we are just not ready to join the matrimonial
queue right now.

So, will it happen? I wonder......
